BGT3’s Greg Pritchard – Whhhaaaatttavoce!!!

Standard

I have been a countertenor during my grade school days (treble actually) and I have been singing in our school choir as a soprano. I was the only male soprano then in the group. But I could never reach the notes Greg Pritchard, a waiter, did.

The following was his audition act in Britain’s Got Talent 3 Wales episode. He sang Nessun Dorma (a tenor aria from the opera Turandot by Puccini, the same song that launched the career of the show’s first winner, Paul Potts) in a countertenor voice. The song is usually associated with the late Luciano Pavarotti.

Be amazed!
