It’s been two weeks since I got my Sun Easy Line account. I was actually excited since I would not have to worry about looking for prepaid loading stations every now and then and I would just have to pay once a month. Before this, I have to buy a new sim pack one after the other because they expire. Hence, the Easy Line.

During my first week of usage, I was impressed since I did not encounter any problem at all except for the inconsistent message from the network that I am already loaded with the daily allowance of 20 minutes of Sun-to-Sun call. So when the customer service of Sun called me after a week for my feedback being a new subscriber, I did not log any complaints.
Last week was hell with Sun. My unlimited SMS is still working and I could receive an incoming call. BUT I could NOT make any outgoing call, even to the network’s customer hotline. It’s been like this for almost five days and I have to ask a friend (also a Sun subscriber) to call the customer hotline and log my complaints. Every possible tweaking and resetting of my unit was done but to no avail. I thought there was nothing wrong with my unit since I could use it with another network’s SIM. There’s also nothing wrong with my account. With all these, the customer service could only say “we’re sorry sir for the inconvenience and we will be making a report to the technical team.” Gosh! Worse, they let me wait for three days to settle all these! Hmft!
The account was supposed to be hassle-free, as the promo aptly describe as “EASY LINE”. But it was not after all that easy…and hassle-free.
Well, I still have my Globe postpaid. :)

  1. I applied for a Sun PostPaid line thrice, and got rejected thrice. Up to now, I’m still not sure why. Thank God for Globe, right? Haha.

  2. oh well…kerwin, if you like you can apply for the easy line with sun hehe joke! the application by the way is just easy; not the usual postpaid application process – as long as you have a valid ID. it’s prepaid that’s like postpaid…confused? just check it out.

and yes, thank God, there’s Globe! but my problem with Globe now is how to get the phone unit that I want with my account renewal. :)

  10. ganiyan ganiyan din ako sa smart prepaid. i can’t make a call for an unknown reason. e bagong bagong yung sim, new customer pa naman ako.
ang haba ng queueing tapos yun lang ang sasabihin, na gagawa sila ng report. naka 3 TL ako sa sobrang badtrip at kulit ko pero wala talagang nagawa.
ayun, tuloy, tinapon ko na yung sim. so much for being number one “kuno.”
    hurray for globe!

  11. @amicus – well, ganyan talaga lagi…kahit sa landline (read: PLDT) pag nagreklamo ka….these telcos are all very cunning: if you could not pay on time, they will cut off your line but they’re the one who made some mistakes or something is wrong with your connection, they JUST MAKE A REPORT AND LEAVE YOU WAITING FOR DAYS.

and meron ka ng mukha ha…hehehe
